"We have just returned home from visiting Glasgow and stayed at the Argyll western hotel, it was absolutely spotlessly clean, very nicely decorated both downstairs and in our room which was tartan themed, it was very quiet, the breakfast was exceptional and you could have anything you wanted, full Scottish, cereal, toast, coffee or tea."

adequate stay with some drawbacks

the breakfast was good and had everything i required.
The single room was quite small. I found scuffs on the wooden structures. there were also stains in the shower basin, it needs fixing. the carpet had a burned iron mark, not a great sight.

the location was quite good. there were various restaurants and cafes nearby. i appreciated the room being clean and having tea and coffee readily available.
The electric socket in my room did not work. i was unable to charge my phone. the bed was also very uncomfortable. It felt hard.

The breakfast was GREAT. It included a full Scottish option plus more. The staff were helpful and friendly. The location was metres from lovely bars and restaurants. THANK you.
The wifi DIDN'T work in my room. My room was not very clean. There were thick lines of dust all around on the carpet. I saw stains on the walls and cushions and dust on the bathroom walls. There were carpet moths.
